First time journaler

For the couple of dozen of y'all out there who watch my ecclectic gallery, thanks. And you may have noted a dearth of submissions or comments in the past weeks.

Life has played out for one of my younger brothers. Turns out he was even more amazing than I knew him to be. Sadly for the rest of us, his time here was up. Passed from a massive heart attack 3 weeks ago. His wife and our family and friends miss him like crazy.

Like crazy.

Sorry to hear about your brother but at last he is free of the pain. You and your family have my sympathy...

part about icons or pictures in the journal - no idea.

Well to post icons all you do is :icon(deviant's screen name): of course without the parenthesis (however you spell it lol) and then for the thumbnails all you do is look for the thumbnail ID number which can be found to the right hand side of the artist's description box towards the bottom. But I think you need to become a subscriber to does this part

not really sure though ^_^

thanks - it's definitely an "unenviable" situation - still sort of surreal at times
at the same time it brings in a lot (maybe LOT would be better) of positivity
